Kraks Blå Bog ("Krak's Blue Book") is the Who's Who of Denmark. Kraks Blå Bog is regarded as highly authoritative and contains biographies of people who have significant impact on the Danish society within all public areas, including the business community, the cultural scene and the official Denmark.

As recognition of the impact of her research on plant specialized metabolites and her international reputation as a top scientist, Barbara Halkier is listed in the 2015 issue, which was published last Thursday.

Now also online

Kraks Blå Bog first appeared in 1910 and since then an annual issue has been published. The latest issue contains the biographies of more than 8,400 prominent contemporary individuals and the book is said to be the most quoted book in Denmark.

Since 2014 all the biographies are also available online, and each year the publishers select a small number of newly listed people for special mention on their web portal.  This year, Barbara Halkier was selected and above you may see the banner featuring her.
