Barbara Ann Halkier on the fence of the new Niels Bohr Building

Large picture portraits of Barbara Ann Halkier and 14 other prominent researchers from the Faculty of Science decorate the board fence along the building site of the new Niels Bohr Building at Jagtvej.

Featuring a two times two and a half meters poster Head of DynaMo Barbara Halkier decorates the fence of the new Nils Bohr Building at Jagtvej.

The Niels Bohr Building will be a new laboratory and teaching facility for the Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen. The building has an expected completion date sometime in 2016, but until then the construction ground is fenced off from the street.

To beautify the fence and to provide a foretaste of some of the activities which the Niels Bohr Building will contain, the SCIENCE Communication Department produced a series of huge posters.

Each poster is two meters high and two and a half meters wide and 15 of them contain portraits and short quotes of leading researchers of the faculty. Head of DynaMo Professor Barbara Ann Halkier is one of them.

"We can utilize plant bioactive compounds to strengthen public health and the environment",  Barbara Ann Halkier informs the passersby of the construction site at Jagvej.
