Fruitful kickoff meeting for Tet4Biotech

PROJECT LAUNCH

On Monday 1 June 2015 the kickoff meeting for the Tet4Biotech project took place. The meeting was held at the University of Copenhagen with all three stakeholders present: DynaMo Center from PLEN at the University of Copenhagen, the Danish biotech company Evolva and Innovation Fund Denmark. All participants were excited to launch the new project and expressed confidence in the team's ability to deliver.

The aim of the Tet4Biotech (Transport Engineering Technology for Biotech) project is to improve biotechnological production of commercially interesting compounds in yeast through transport engineering technology. The project is a collaboration between DynaMo Center and Evolva and runs for a three year period. The project is supported with a 6 mill. kr grant by Innovation Fund Denmark.

Associate Professor Hussam Nour-Eldin from DynaMo is the project manager and also from DynaMo Head of Center Professor Barbara Ann Halkier and PhD student Zeinu Mussa Belew will contribute to the project.
