Congratulations Bo!

PhD degree

Yesterday DynaMo PhD Scholar Bo Larsen succesfully passed his PhD defence.

The title of Bo Larsen's PhD thesis is entitled Plant transporter identification - A high-throughput functional genomics approach. The thesis contains a review of  implemented methods, which have led to plant transporter identification, and present articles on creating a high-throughput functional genomics transporter identification platform.

Bo completed his thesis under the supervision of Head of DynaMo Professor Barbara Ann Halkier and DynaMo member Professor Alexander Schulz.

In front of a full auditorium, Bo gave a well-designed and convincing presentation of the material of his thesis. This was followed by a discussion with the members of the assessment committee Professor Kazufumi Yazaki from University of Kyoto, Professor Enrico Martinoia from University of Zürich and Char of the committee Anja Fuglsang from the University of Copenhagen. The committee unaimously reccommend that Bo is awarded the PhD degree.
