Yesterday, DynaMo PhD Scholar Marie Pireyre successfully obtained the PhD degree.
In front of colleagues, family and friends Marie Pireyre succesfully defended a thesis on the outcome of three year's work as a PhD student at DynaMo Center.
The topic of Marie's PhD thesis is plant signaling in connection with transcription factor regulation and the title is 'The journey of a transcription factor: MYB transcription factor interactions regulating the glucosinolates metabolic network in Arabidopsis'.
Marie completed her MSc degree in in Genetic, Cellular and Pathologic Biology from Lyon University, France in 2012 and joined DynaMo Center later the same year. Her PhD supervisor was DynaMo Board member Associate Professor Meike Burow.
From February 2016 Marie will commence a postdoc position at a postdoc at the Sainsbury Laboratory, Cambridge University.
