New Master Students 2020 - 21

Mie Zeka Dannebrog Læssøe is doing her master studies in Biology - Biotechnology for 12 months at  the DynaMo Center. She will work on Characterizing an Unknown Sugar Transporter in the Genome of C. reinhardtii with DynaMo Partner Hussam Nour-Eldin and co-supervisor Antonina Karakostova.
Mie did her BSc at the DynaMo center in Prof Meike Burows group, co-supervised by PhD Marie-Louise Fobian Thomsen.

Cecilie Fomsgaard Bergman is doing her master studies in Biology - Biotechnology for 12 months at  the DynaMo Center. She will work on Expressing a functional GLUT1 transporter in the plasma membrane of C.reinhardtii with DynaMo Partner Hussam Nour-Eldin and co-supervisor Antonina Karakostova.
Cecilie did her BSc at the DynaMo center in Prof Meike Burows group, co-supervised by PhD Marie-Louise Fobian Thomsen.

Lasse Meyer is doing his master studies in Biology - Biotechnology for 9 months at the DynaMo Center. He will work on elucidating the amino acid residues responsible for the substrate specificity in glucosinolate exporters with Head of DynaMo Barbara Ann Halkier and Assist. Prof Deyang Xu as supervisors.
Lasse also did his BSc at DynaMo center in Prof Meike Burows group, co-supervised by PhD Marie-Louise Fobian Thomsen.

Chengyao Hua is doing her master studies in Biology - Biotechnology for 9 months at the DynaMo Center. She will work on MATE Transporters with DynaMo Partner Hussam Nour-Eldin and co-supervisors postdoc Zeinu Mussa Belew and Assist. Prof. Deyang Xu.
Chengyao did her BSc (Plant Protection) at Shandong Agriculture University, China.

Guanhua Liang is doing his master studies in Agriculture for 6 months at the DynaMo Center. He will work on identification and characterization of glucosinolate transporters with Head of DynaMo Barbara Ann Halkier and co-supervisor Assist. Prof Deyang Xu.
Liang did his BSc at Northwest A&F University, China.

 Guanhua Liang
Ydun Kalsbeek-Hansen is doing her master studies in Biology - Biotechnology for 9 months at the DynaMo Center. She will work on beneficial plant-microbe interactions with Head of DynaMo Prof Barbara Ann Halkier and co-supervisor Assist. Prof. Deyang Xu and PhD student Laura Dethier. Ydun also did her BSc at DynaMo center in Barbara Ann Halkiers group.

Marlene Niedermayer from Austria is doing her master studies in Biology - Biotechnology for 9 months at the DynaMo Center as an Erasmus Internship. She will work on "Beneficial Microbiome(s) towards the future of sustainable agriculture" with Head of DynaMo Center Prof Barbara Ann Halkier and co-supervisors Assist. Prof. Deyang Xu and PhD student Laura Dethier.
Marlene did her BSc at the University of Vienna in Biology with specialization on Microbiology and Genetics
